I am very honored to receive the Skidmore Prize.  This award really represents two things: the second opportunity I was provided through recovery and the unconditional love I received from people who believed in me. That’s what we do everyday at 4D. We provide a space for young people seeking recovery to find themselves and we believe in them by supporting their aspirations. Thank you Willamette Week for recognizing the value of the work happening at 4D. I hope this award brings community awareness to the power of recovery because the lie “once and addict always an addict” is dead, we do recover.
